About me
My name is Sven Scholz.
Having grown up in a small village in Upper Lusatia in East Saxony, I came into “contact” with photography when I was still at school. AG Fotografie aroused interest in this medium early on, after all, it wasn't just about capturing the right moment. The subsequent work in the darkroom and the correct handling of the developer solutions were certainly equally interesting... and everything in SW.
A lot of time has passed since then. I've been living with my family in Switzerland for over twenty years now, high above Lake Constance.
The interest in photography has never completely disappeared over the years and thanks to technical progress, there are hardly any limits to the whole thing these days.
A few years ago, thanks to this further development, I rediscovered my old «love» and what can I say: I am enthusiastic every day and see the world around me through the lens of my camera more and more often!

Why landscape photography?
A beautiful sunrise, mist-shrouded mountain peaks or a crystal-clear lake - landscape photography can create magical natural images of areas that remain hidden forever from unwary visitors.
Many factors play an important role in ensuring that the photo is perfect afterwards. It's not just about the right settings, but also the composition of the picture and the time of day. Landscape photography requires a lot of precision, patience and sometimes a little trial and error.
All of this makes up the appeal,... the appeal of capturing the right moment!
